Bristol Registry Office sits in the heart of our historic and bustling city. Situated opposite the iconic St Nicholas market on Corn Street, the venue offers a charming and elegant ceremony space for both intimate gatherings and extravagant celebrations. Conveniently, it’s within walking distance of several wedding reception venues, pubs, and restaurants.

Inside, five quaint ceremony rooms can be found, each majestically decorated in a distinct colour - red, yellow, peach, green and white. With it’s central location and surrounded by Bristol’s unique and stunning landmarks, it’s an ideal choice for relaxed local couples.

The Grand Council Chamber

The Grand Council Chamber is lovingly designed with enchanting pastel tones. Natural light streams through the large windows, beautifully illuminating the couple and their guests. With ample space for discreet maneuvering, it’s perfect for capturing stunning photos from both the front and back of the ceremony room. A wonderful choice for larger wedding parties, this impressive space on the top-floor can accommodate up to 150 guests.

The Lantern Room

The Lantern Room is an elegantly designed space; with grand paintings of Kings and Queens overlooking the ceremony. The impressive domed skylight above really is a show stopper, bathing the couple in natural light from above. This warm and ambient space on the ground floor, can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests.

The Mayoral Room

The Mayoral Room is the most popular room I have photographed at Bristol Registry. A vibrantly designed ceremony room, with red walls and dark paneling, this cosy space accommodates just 50 guests. Following your intimate ceremony, guests are welcome to have family photos on the steps and a fabulous confetti shot!
