Intimate Poole Court Wedding Inspiration

Sarah & David shared a gorgeous low-key Autumnal wedding in Yate. In a modest ceremony at Poole Court registry office, the bride wore a vintage dress and made her own bouquet! Following the short ceremony, we had photographs before the couple headed to the local Squire Pub in Chipping Sodbury for a wedding breakfast.

The couple are a big fan of thrifting & DIY, so the bride sourced many vintage finds from her family and charity shops. Grandma’s china and hydrangeas from her own garden also decorated the village hall venue.

The couple’s reception had lots of DIY ideas / fun & games that you could incorporate into your own event. The games table was a huge hit (Jenga, Chess, UNO) as well as a DIY ribbon photo booth & outdoor warrior games!

I love this pheasant! A nod to the cotswolds

The sweetie tables / gin bar & beer crates were fab!

Sarah is a keen sewer, so her community group Sodbury Sewcial joined for the party. Wearing handmade gowns with fabrics sourced at Koala Kreations in Chipping Sodbury.

It was a really special homemade event. Relaxed, chilled vibes for friends to get together and celebrate! It was perfect, just the way they wanted.
